For prolonged operation of equipment inextreme cold (temperatures below -10°F[23°C]), remove lubricants prescribed in theKEY for temperatures above -10°F (-23°C).Clean parts with drycleaning solvent (Item 14,Appendix F). Lubricate with lubricants specifiedin the KEY for temperatures of 0°F to -65°F (18°C to -54°). If OEA lubricant isrequired to meet the temperature changes prescribedin the KEY, OEA lubricant is to be usedin place of OE/HDO-10 lubricant for all temperatureranges where OE/HDO-10 lubricant isspecified in the key.2. Oil Can Points: Semiannually or as required,lubricate the following with OE/HDO: handbrakelevers and linkage, adjustable front supportleg pivot points and handcrank, rearstabilizer pivot points and latches, cargo bodytailgate hinges and latches, and rack and tailgateassembly hinges and latches.3. Adjustable Front Support Leg: Annuallyremove, clean, inspect, pack with GAA, andinstall (para 4-51).4. Master Cylinder: Semiannually fill to within 1/4inch (6.35 mm) of top with BFS.5. Wheel Bearings: Annually remove, clean,inspect, pack with GAA, and install (para 4-43).Refer to TM 9-214.6. Springs: Do not lubricate.I-4
