TM 9-2330-202-14&P2-12. LOADING THE TRAILER.WARNINGIf trailer is not coupled to towing vehicle, make sure handbrakes are appliedand wheels are chocked securely. Failure to follow this warning may causetrailer to roll, resulting in serious injury or death to personnel or damage toequipment.a. Operate handbrake levers (1) to apply handbrakes (para 2-10).WARNINGRear stabilizer must be used if trailer is carrying generator sets. Failure tofollow this warning may cause trailer to tip, resulting in serious injury topersonnel or damage to equipment.b. If equipped with rear stabilizer (2), pull out on release handle (3) and lower rear stabilizer (2). Turn footassembly (4) until it firmly contacts ground.WARNINGMake sure weight of load is evenly distributed. Too much weight at the frontwill make trailer difficult to lift. Too much weight at the rear will cause trailerto tip backward. Serious injury to personnel or damage to equipment mayresult.c. Distribute load evenly over trailer.
