11.7. Biographical Notes on the AuthorGermar Rudolf, a certified chemist, was born on October 29,1964, in Limburg/Lahn, Germany. Elite High School Diploma (GymnasiumAbitur) in 1983 in Remscheid, followed by study for a certifiedchemist’s degree at the University ofBonn, graduation summa cum laudein September 1989. Completion ofcompulsory military service with theGerman Luftwaffe (Air Force). BetweenOctober 1990 and June 1993,Mr. Rudolf worked on the preparationof a doctoral thesis at the Max-Planck-Institute for Solid State Researchin Stuttgart. Despite the highestrecommendations, he was forcedto withdraw his dissertation, becausethe University of Stuttgart threatenedto rejected it on politicalgrounds (due to his involvement inrevisionism).Since early 1993, he has beenthe defendant in several criminalprosecutions resulting from the publicationof scientific texts; in March1996, he left his native Germany andwent into exile, first England, then,in late 1999, the United States. Inlate 1996, Mr. Rudolf founded thepublishing house Castle Hill Publishersand, simultaneously, a quarterlyhistorical periodical of Germanlanguage, the aim of which is to dealwith critical aspects of contemporaryhistory currently suppressed in allGerman speaking countries.
