There are no signs to explain these restitutions,they were not marked at the time, and the guides remain silentabout it when they take visitors through this building that is presumed bythe tourist to be the place where it happened.”This argument of the “usurpation” is packed with dynamite, becauseit suggests that the events alleged to have taken place in crematoriumI, events described by eyewitnesses Rudolf Höß, Pery Broad anda few others actually never took place at this location. But this underminesthe credibility of all other eyewitnesses from the very outset,including those from Birkenau. We wonder if the authors are aware ofthis?It may at least be stated without fear of contradiction that the ceiling,exterior walls and pillars as well as the foundation of the buildingare in their original condition. If Zyklon B introduction stacks and ventilationopenings had existed in the reinforced concrete roof, breaks inthe reinforced concrete structure would be visible from the interior inthe corresponding places, since these cannot have been made to disappearwithout leaving visible traces. In addition to today’s Zyklon Bintroduction stacks there are, however, no indications of any formeropenings in the roof. The holes allegedly made in another locationtherefore never existed!The openings in the concrete visible today are neither plastered,nor have the remains of the cut steel reinforcement rods been removedin a professional manner.
