Then came the Swedish team. Everythingwent very well at first, but then came a piece of bad luck; one ofthe competitors, by some means or another, not having time to dischargeone of his shots, so that the team had a miss put down toits account, as the regulations prescribed that a shot not fired wasto be counted as a miss. The Swedes made 925 points, however,and thus beat Great Britain’s score, in any case.695
