It will be seen by the rules of the competitions, which can befound in the latter part of this book, that considerable changes havebeen made in the regulations in force at the <strong>Olympic</strong> <strong>Games</strong> of London,1908, the reason of this being a desire to give the competitions,as much as possible, the nature of a sporting event.On the proposal of the Committee the following gentlemen wereelected to act as officials at the competitions:For Clay Bird Shooting:Judge:Count Claes Lewenhaupt, Secretary to the Cabinet;Controllers: N. S. A.The Russian team did not compete and, in accordance with theregulations in force, the French team retired after the first round, andthe Swedish and Finnish teams after the second round.
