SWIMMING.GENERAL ORGANIZATION.n accordance with the regulations fixed for the organizationof the work of arranging the competitions of theFifth Olympiad, the Swedish Swimming Association, atthe close of 1909, appointed a special <strong>Olympic</strong> SwimmingCommittee, which was commissioned to carry outall the preliminary technical- and other arrangementsfor the swimming competitions of the <strong>Olympic</strong> <strong>Games</strong>. This Committee— which met for the first time on the 7 January, 1910 — afterseveral additions to its numbers, was composed as follows:President.
