The column construction isglass and PTFE, 1/8” PTFE inlet and outlet, rigid PTFE base andadjustable plunger, sturdy construction, and pressure stable.• TOUCH-PAD CONTROL WITH LCD DISPLAYA four lined display with touch-pad input enables the system tooperate in a stand alone mode. The menu driven input isself-explanatory and intuitive for system operation.• SAMPLE HANDLING SYSTEMA precise swivel robot arm, in combination with a spring mountedneedle loop and an inert 10 mL syringe, transfers the liquid withinthe system. There are four solvent paths possible that allow forapplication flexibility and efficient system rinsing functions. LCTECH / GPC PRODUCT LINE• VACUUM CHAMBER WITH VACUUM PUMPIn a heated rotation vacuum chamber, samples are concentratedto a defined final volume and transferred into vials after the GPCstep or clean-up. Concentration of samples without GPC is possiblein the stand alone mode.• Sample concentration to a specific volume is controlled bylasers and software algorithms to identify the precise volume.A frequency-modulated membrane vacuum pump provides theoptimal performance with virtually silent operation.• SAMPLE RACKS & VIALSRacks for 26 and 52 positions for flexible sample and GC vialcombinations. With the 26-position rack, a concentrated samplecan be transferred into two GC vials and one 4 mL vial. With the52-position rack, the aliquot is placed in a 4 mL vial. For concentrationtasks, the system can be loaded with up to 52 positionswith 60 mL, 26 positions with 110 mL, or 12 positions with 250mL. For the concentrate, there are 1 mL autosampler vials or 16mL vials available. Sample vials and receptacles for fractions canbe sealed with septa (not required) to prevent sample or solventvapors from escaping.• GPC PUMPThe system contains a robust PLC-controlled double piston preparativepump adjustable from 0.04 – 40.00 mL/min. Preparativepump technology is known for longevity and reliability in continuousoperation environments. The pump flow rate is adjustablewith pulsation less than 1.0 %. With automatic high/low pressureshut-off and inert wetted components, the reliability and low maintenanceare superior to HPLC pump implementations.• CHILLERAn optimized high-performance chiller for the GPC ULTRA enablesvirtually complete solvent recovery in the condenser. Flexibilityof applications is possible with adjustable temperature control.• SOFTWARE VARIOSOFT (OPTIONAL)The LCTech PC Windows VarioSoft provides Laboratory InformationSystem compliance. The Graphical user interface is modeledafter most HPLC and GC software for familiar and intuitive controlof the operations. The Sample ID and Job List Sequence areencrypted and stored to meet all requirements for data security.• FIXED WAVELENGTH DETECTOR (OPTIONAL)The UV detector is a 254 nm fixed wavelength detector controlledby the VarioSoft GPC ULTRA software.
