"We cannot give thefares from every " populous place " in the United Kingdom(if we did, we should have to publish a large volume of faresonly), but they can readily be obtained on application at thebooking otfices in the towns where intending tourists reside.It will perhaps be suflieient to saj" that, from every Londonstation, the charges are—Fh'st class, 68s. 3d. ; second class,51s. Gd. ; and third class, 34s. Gd. Children under threej'ears of age travel free ; those above three and under twelveat half-fare.
