Chapter 19 - Alibre Motion19.5.5 GravityBy default, the acceleration due to gravity (often approximated as 9.81 m/s 2 , or 32.185ft/s 2 at the Earth’s surface) is not enabled. You can enable gravity and change thevalues and direction used by the Alibre Motion simulator from the Motion Explorer.‣ To Enable Gravity:The Gravity Node is shown grayed when gravity is not enabled.1. Right-click on Gravity, and select Enable GravityOr1. Right-click on Gravity, and select Edit. The Gravity dialog appears.2. Check Enable gravity in the dialog.3. Click OK.548
