5. PRODUCT INFORMATION<br />

5.1 D500 TM (H SERIES)<br />

5.1.1 DESCRIPTION<br />

<strong>Hambro</strong> H Series features a top chord made of one<br />

<strong>Hambro</strong> section, an open web of mild steel rods and wide<br />

range of bottom chord angles.<br />

5.1.2 MATERIALS<br />

The <strong>Hambro</strong> top chord acts as a continuous shear connector.<br />

Bottom chord angles and web members are hot or cold<br />

rolled sections, minimum yield Fy = 380 MPa (55 ksi) and<br />

350 MPa (50 ksi) for rods.<br />

5.1.3 WEB GEOMETRY<br />

See below.<br />

5.1.4 JOIST SPACING<br />

1 251 mm (4’-1 1 /4”), typical unless noted.<br />

5.1.5 SPAN AND DEPTH<br />

Span: Up to 13 100 mm (43’-0”).<br />

Depth: Between 200 mm (8”) and 600 mm (24”).<br />

5.1.6 SLAB DESIGN<br />

The minimum slab thickness is 65 mm (2 1 /2”) and the slab<br />

capacity chart tables 8 and 9 on page 19 and 20, shows the<br />

total allowable load (including the dead load of the slab)<br />

based on 20 MPa (3000 psi) concrete.<br />

5.1.7 ROLLBAR®<br />

Standard 1 251 mm (4’-1 1 /4”).<br />

Non standard available for specific case.<br />

5.1.8 FORMS<br />

Standard 12.7 mm ( 1 /2”) or 9.5 mm ( 3 /8”) plywood sheets,<br />

1 220 mm x 2 440 mm (4’ x 8’).<br />

5.1.9 INSTALLATION<br />

project.<br />
