Technical Data - QUANTUM-Series
Type Q080
L S
Design of the Cable Carrier
Chain pitch t = 25 mm
Chain link height h G = 80 mm
Connection length l 1 = 80 mm
Connection dimensions cf. page 4.33
A flat and level surface is required for the
carrier system to be installed properly. If
necessary, a support tray should be
installed. (cf.System Components section)
The calculation of the bend length L B also takes into consideration the
parts of the cable carrier which are reinforced by the connecting elements.
Load diagram for an intrinsic chain weight q k of 2.3 kg/m. If the intrinsic
chain weight exceeds q k 2.3 kg/m, the permissible additional load
is reduced.
Long travel lengths
With long travel lengths the upper part of the cable carrier glides on
its lower run in a guide channel.
Design → cf. Construction Guidelines
Guide channel → cf. System Components
We recommend that a system of this kind be planned by one of
our engineers.
