international travel links mean the city can be reached quickly
and easily by individuals and groups, from all directions and
with all forms of transport. To help you get around the city, we

An effortless drive to your destination: the A9, A14 and A38
motorways will take you directly to Leipzig via 13 exits. There
are also links to the B2, B6, B87, B95, B181 and B184 trunk
roads. Links to up-to-date information on road works, traffic
and parking can be found on our online portal. Travelling with
Deutsche Bahn is simple and practical thanks to a wide range
of direct trains, not to mention CityNightLine and DB Nachtzug
(overnight train) connections. Veolia Group and Erfurter Bahn
also offer a range of services.
Flying? There are Inter-City rail links to Leipzig / Halle Airport, as
well as local FlughafenExpress trains, that bring you into the city
every hour in only 14 minutes. After all, Leipzig / Halle Airport is
only a few kilometres from the city and is accessible via the
hubs Frankfurt / Main, Munich, Düsseldorf, Cologne / Bonn,
Vienna or Paris. Within Germany, there are direct flights almost
daily to Düsseldorf, Cologne /Bonn, Frankfurt / Main, Stuttgart,
Nuremberg and Munich. There are also more than 40 direct
flights which link Leipzig with major European cities and destinations
around the Mediterranean as well as in the Atlantic region.

Prices for individual visitors and groups smaller than the minimum participation
numbers given will be provided on request. All services quoted are subject
to availability at the time of booking. All prices quoted are subject to possible
increases in VAT and price alterations by the service provider. All prices include
statutory VAT and are per person. We will be happy to make you an individual
quote at a processing fee of EUR 150.00 charged with your booking.
Insurance
For your own security, we recommend that you take out travel cancellation
expenses insurance.

Bus companies and bus drivers will find important information and useful tips
