the Schumann House. Today there is a permanent exhibition in the<br />

historic living quarters on the first floor. The former parlour serves<br />

Monument to the Battle of the Nations & FORUM 1813<br />

The monument’s 91 metre high viewing platform provides a superb<br />

panoramic view of <strong>Leipzig</strong> and the surrounding area. Events in the wars<br />

of liberation are covered in the exhibition FORUM 1813.<br />

A permanent exhibition on the themes of separation and unity, dictatorship<br />

and resistance in the German Democratic Republic: temporary<br />

exhibitions, events, educational programmes.<br />
