Qualification Aim<br />
This qualification aims to provide<br />
learners with the skills and knowledge<br />
needed to work in higher level<br />
supervisory/management roles<br />
within the retail sector covering<br />
selling, service, team working, health<br />
and safety, dealing with theft and<br />
product knowledge. Covering a<br />
variety <strong>of</strong> specific product areas, it’s<br />
ideal for learners already working in<br />
the retail sector looking to progress,<br />
or for those looking to work in the<br />
sector who’d like to increase their<br />
skills and knowledge.<br />
This qualification also forms the<br />
competence-based aspect <strong>of</strong> the<br />
Advanced Apprenticeship in Retail<br />
(Retail Management pathway).<br />
Qualification Structure<br />
This qualification consists <strong>of</strong> one<br />
mandatory unit and 22 optional units.<br />
To be awarded this qualification,<br />
learners must successfully complete<br />
the one mandatory unit and at least<br />
