Qualification Aim<br />

This qualification aims to provide<br />

learners with the skills and knowledge<br />

needed to work in higher level visual<br />

merchandising roles within the retail<br />

sector covering choosing<br />

merchandise, display layouts,<br />

evaluating the effectiveness <strong>of</strong><br />

displays and dismantling displays.<br />

This qualification also forms the<br />

competence-based aspect <strong>of</strong> the<br />

Advanced Apprenticeship in Retail<br />

(Visual Merchandising pathway).<br />

Qualification Structure<br />

This qualification consists <strong>of</strong> one<br />

mandatory unit and 16 optional units.<br />

To be awarded this qualification,<br />

learners must successfully complete<br />

the one mandatory unit and at least<br />

43 credits from the optional units.<br />

mandatory units and 9 optional units.<br />

To be awarded this qualification,<br />

learners must successfully complete<br />

the 8 mandatory units and at least 6<br />

credits from the optional units.<br />

Group E is an additional group.<br />

These units will not count towards<br />
