More than 600 qualified employees are hard at work<br />

from the river Ems to the river Elbe and southwards to<br />

the Sauerland, generating annual turnover of around<br />

140 million Euro.<br />

Each STRABAG Directorate acts independently within its<br />

region while at the same time profiting from the advantages<br />

and financial standing of the STRABAG Group. To -<br />

gether with the employees of Directorate North West, the<br />

two CEOs are also closely associated with the region. They<br />

are perfectly acquainted with the requirements of the<br />

market and the special needs and requests of their clients.<br />

Customers appreciate above all the company’s demonstrated<br />

faith in the region, together with the easy availa -<br />

bility of reliable contact persons on site. The Directorate<br />

North West therefore gives special priority to maintaining<br />

its commitment to the area and to cultivating and estab -<br />

lishing lasting customer relations. Around 4.5 million Euro<br />

were just recently invested in the Jaderberg site, together<br />

with the takeover and continuation in Bremerhaven of the<br />

long-standing company Johann Kipp.<br />

Founded in 1923, STRABAG AG has played a major role in<br />

shaping Germany’s infrastructure in a great many places.<br />

In the North West, it was involved in construction of the<br />

A 27, A 28, A 29, A 30 and A 31 motorways. Together with<br />

its operative units, STRABAG AG vouches for the very best<br />

quality in asphalt and concrete road construction, earthworks,<br />

railway construction, plant engineering, canal and<br />

pipeline construction, special engineering, construction of<br />

sports facilities and test tracks and in the production and<br />

recycling of construction materials.
