‘As a passionate self taught artist I enjoy teaching at <strong>Shipley</strong> <strong>College</strong><br />
and helping others develop their artistic and creative skills. I have been<br />
working at the <strong>College</strong> for over 15 years and in my <strong>time</strong> here I have taught<br />
14 different art courses. I have met many different people and enjoy<br />
learning from them and helping them achieve their artistic potential.<br />
All my classes are relaxed and informal and we work together to share<br />
ideas, build self esteem and create works of art to take home to show<br />
friends and family. I would recommend this course for anyone looking<br />
to pursue or develop their watercolour skills and meet new people with<br />

CAKE DECORATION FOR EVERYONE WITH BERNADETTE YOUNG<br />

On this popular course, you develop the skills to pipe with royal icing and make sugar figures and flowers to a<br />
professional standard that are perfect for decorating celebration cakes for all sorts of occasions. All aspects of<br />
sugarcraft are covered by our tutor, including the latest trends. Students at all levels are welcome as the course covers<br />
beginner to advanced skills. A basic equipment list will be provided before the course starts. Please note materials will<br />
need to be bought each week in order to complete the projects.<br />

In this popular class you will learn how to decorate cakes for all sorts of occasions from birthdays to weddings and<br />
Easter. You will develop the skills needed to pipe with royal icing, mould sugar paste roses and leaves, make figures and<br />
small animals from sugar paste and decorate a chocolate egg. A basic equipment list will be provided before the course<br />
begins. Materials will need to be bought each week in order to complete the projects.<br />
