LEARNER SUPPORT FUND
If you are a student aged 19 or over, you may be eligible to get help with the costs of course and exam fees, equipment,
travel and childcare through the Learner Support Fund. This is a limited fund for certain courses so early application is
advised.
For more information on whether you are eligible for the Learner Support Fund or if you would like to apply for the fund,
please contact Student Services on 01274 327281.
CLASS CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
Prior to the commencement of a course, the College will consider an application for the refund of fees. The College
will refund fees if the course fails to start or if it is cancelled by the College within 3 weeks of the start date due to low
enrolments. Once the course has started, refunds are not available in any other circumstances.
If a class is cancelled for reasons beyond the College’s control, such as bad weather, the College will attempt to give
as much warning as possible. While every attempt will be made to replace a cancelled class, we regret that the College
cannot guarantee to do so. Where it proves impossible to do so, the College will not make a refund.

Governors. Vacancies do occur from time to time so if

ACCESS TO GOVERNING BODY
MEETINGS & INFORMATION
Governing Body meetings are open to members of
the public to attend by contacting the Clerk to the
Corporation at least 7 days in advance of the meeting.
The full policy on public access to meetings along
with the approved Minutes of the Corporation and
Committees are available on the College website or by
application to the Clerk.
Access to other information, for example the register of
member interests, agendas, papers, dates of meetings
etc. are available on request by writing to the Clerk to
the Corporation, as above, enclosing an A4 stamped
addressed envelope.
