5.1.2 Resident Mail‐out<br />

As part of stage three engagement 40,000 brochures were printed and delivered to<br />

residents and ratepayers of the <strong>Shoalhaven</strong>. This brochure provided information<br />

about the merger proposal and the key facts and figures. It included details of the<br />

need to meet the Fit for the Future benchmarks, <strong>Council</strong>s financial situation and the<br />

impact on provision of services and facilities. The brochure explained how the<br />

community could provide feedback to <strong>Council</strong> about the merger proposal and the<br />

impact on <strong>Council</strong>’s financial sustainability.<br />
