SOWSG ATHENS 2011 HOD <strong>Manual</strong> – 2 nd edition<br />
Evening entertainment will be provided in the accommodation venues. The<br />
entertainment program will be starting after dinner and will be lasting for<br />
approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. <strong>Delegation</strong>s will be participating in a variety <strong>of</strong><br />
entertainment activities, such as IT Café, Arts and crafts (Scarf Painting, Bead Jewelry,<br />
Badge Making, Stenciled Pictures), various Throwing Games, Photo Montage, Badge<br />
Swapping, Autograph Wall, Hand Wall, Interactive Puppetry, Live Entertainment,<br />
Dance Floor, Temporary Tattoos, Games (bingo, arcade games, table games and game<br />
systems with multiple player capabilities), Karaoke, Jigsaw Puzzles, Movies.<br />
11.6 Honored Guest Program<br />
During the <strong>Special</strong> <strong>Olympics</strong> World Summer Games ATHENS 2011, two hosting<br />
programs for honored guests in Athens will be operated: the All-Star Fans and the<br />
MVP Fans programs.<br />
All the Honored Guests will enjoy unique engagement opportunities with <strong>Special</strong><br />
<strong>Olympics</strong> athletes, Youth Engagement Activities, including the Global Youth Rally,<br />
and opportunities to Present Awards to the athletes.<br />
The All-Star Fans program will bring together a small, selected group <strong>of</strong> individuals<br />
from both <strong>Special</strong> <strong>Olympics</strong> International and the Games Organizing Committee,<br />
providing opportunities for real participation and athlete engagement. Nominations<br />
have already been selected for this program, and the invitation process is underway.<br />
The ASF program may include priority Guests from the following categories:<br />
� Royalty<br />
� <strong>Head</strong>s <strong>of</strong> State and <strong>Head</strong>s <strong>of</strong> Government<br />
� Government Ministers and Minister-Level Leaders<br />
� National Governors and Senators/Congressmen<br />
� Vice-Ministers (representing their <strong>Head</strong> <strong>of</strong> State or <strong>Head</strong> <strong>of</strong> Government)<br />
� Government Ambassadors<br />
� International Non-Governmental Organization Leaders<br />
� SOI International Board <strong>of</strong> Directors and Leadership<br />
� SOI Former Board <strong>of</strong> Directors<br />
� International Global Messengers<br />
� International Sports Federation Leaders<br />
� Regional Federation Leaders<br />
