ministries, but the same Lord. And there are
diversities of activities, but it is the same God who
works all in all" (1 Cor. 12:4-6).
The Extent of Unity
Believers experience a unity of mind and
judgment. Notice the following exhortations: "Now
may the God of patience and comfort grant you to
be like-minded toward one another, according to
Christ Jesus, that you may with one mind and one
mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ" (Rom. 15:5, 6). "Now I plead with you,
brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that
you all speak the same thing, and that there be no
divisions among you, but that you be perfectly
joined together in the same mind and in the same
judgment" (1 Cor. 1:10). "Be of good comfort, be
of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and
peace will be with you" (2 Cor. 13:11).
