Virtual Chassis - ISSU Configuring Virtual Chassis 2 Create the flash/issu_dir directory and copy the image files, the issu_version file, the vcsetup.cfg, and vcboot.cfg files to the /flash/issu_dir directory. 3 Enter ‘issu from issu_dir’ to begin the ISSU upgrade. 4 The Master copies the /flash/issu_dir directory to the Slave chassis, the Slave is reloaded with the upgraded code and rejoins the Virtual Chassis. 5 The Master chassis is now reloaded with the upgraded code which causes the Slave chassis to become the new Master chassis.
