2 Managing System Files<br />

This chapter describes the several methods of transferring software files onto the Omni<strong>Switch</strong> and how to<br />

register those files for use by the switch. This chapter also describes several basic switch management<br />

procedures and discusses the Command Line Interface (CLI) commands used.<br />

• File <strong>Management</strong> (copy, secure copy, edit, rename, remove, change, and display file attributes)<br />

• Directory <strong>Management</strong> (create, copy, move, remove, rename, and display directory information)<br />

• System Date and Time (set system clock)<br />
