(1) This decree is proposed to be a basic regulation in order to carry out pesticide
registration, include trial and its permission.
(2) The goal <strong>of</strong> this decree is as follows:
a. Protect <strong>the</strong> community and environment from adverse effects due to pesticide
application;
b. Promote <strong>the</strong> efficiency and effectiveness <strong>of</strong> pesticides use;
c. Promote <strong>the</strong> IPM concept.
The scope <strong>of</strong> work <strong>of</strong> this decree covers classification, registration, including permission,
container/packaging and pesticide label and administrative sanction.
Field <strong>of</strong> pesticides use is among:
a. Crop cultivation
b. Livestock and veterinary;
c. Fisheries;
d. Storage <strong>of</strong> agriculture products;
e. Preservation <strong>of</strong> forests product;
f. Controlling <strong>of</strong> human disease vector;
g. Termite control;
h. Household pesticides;
i. Fumigation;
j. O<strong>the</strong>r industrial pesticides such as those impregnated in paint, anti pollution; and
k. O<strong>the</strong>r field.
