Common abbreviations for units of measure are listed in Table 14.2. This<br />

table does not cover all units used in this text. Further measures of energy<br />

and power are discussed in Section 1.4. For further information, see [68].<br />

The fourth column indicates whether the unit is an SI base unit, an SI<br />

derived unit, or not an SI unit. Table 14.3 lists prexes used with SI units<br />
