ONBOARD Magazine autumn 2023

ONBOARD is aimed purely at the superyacht professional – whether onboard or shoreside. 100% of your spend will hit your targets on the Mediterranean from Palma in Mallorca, Barcelona, through France to Genoa and beyond together with Montenegro and the Aegean, plus the eastern seaboard of Florida. We hand deliver every copy to superyachts over 30m to make sure your message gets in to the hands of the decision makers on board. The publication is also delivered to relevant businesses around the ports and marinas together with shipyards. We also attend the major yacht shows in Monaco, FLIBS, METS, Boote Dusseldorf, Palma and MYBA for on site distribution. Plus, we post over 500 copies to relevant businesses not on the Mediterranean such as the UK, the Netherlands, Germany the rest of northern Europe and of course the USA and Caribbean. We work hard to develop a publication that all the crew and land based decision makers will read from cover to cover. An enjoyable and informative read for everyone means your message will be read. Talking about your brand, product, services and your team is essential and with our help, the message hits the right decision makers.

TRAINING FOR SUCCESS
With continued investment in their facilities, the UK maritime training
schools continue to lead the way in the wider global maritime industry
WARSASH MARITIME SCHOOL
W arsash Maritime School, part of
Solent University, Southampton has
a long-established history of promoting
professionalism and excellence in the
maritime industry. For over 70 years they
have offered maritime professionals first
class education and training. Always at
the forefront of maritime provision, they
pioneered the use of bridge, engine room
and liquid cargo operations simulators.
And during the Covid-19 pandemic, the
school pivoted to sophisticated digital
educational provision. In the last few
years, the school has invested tens
of millions of pounds in new facilities,
including in the UK’s largest Maritime
Simulation Centre; new engineering
workshops; an ETO lab; and at the
Manned Model Ship Handling Centre,
the only facility of its kind in the UK.
SEASCOPE MARITIME TRAINING
S eascope has been in operation since
2004 in the UK offering a range of STCW
TRAINING COURSES to the highest maritime
standards. Seascope holds accreditation from
the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, (MCA)
under the UK Department of Transport. The
team at Seascope was set up by Alfie Hincks,
when he decided to leave his own career at
sea and dedicate his life to teaching safety
courses to seafarers. Alfie has an amazing
passion for teaching and an ability to share
his knowledge with students in a fun and
friendly manner. With Alfie at the helm,
Seascope quickly gained a solid reputation
as a professional and dedicated training
provider and his school in Liverpool became
one of the most popular in Northern England,
providing training over the years to literally
thousands and thousands of seafarers from
the commercial shipping sector. Over the past
few years, the company has since opened
locations in Antibes and Palma.
