ONBOARD is aimed purely at the superyacht professional – whether onboard or shoreside. 100% of your spend will hit your targets on the Mediterranean from Palma in Mallorca, Barcelona, through France to Genoa and beyond together with Montenegro and the Aegean, plus the eastern seaboard of Florida. We hand deliver every copy to superyachts over 30m to make sure your message gets in to the hands of the decision makers on board. The publication is also delivered to relevant businesses around the ports and marinas together with shipyards. We also attend the major yacht shows in Monaco, FLIBS, METS, Boote Dusseldorf, Palma and MYBA for on site distribution. Plus, we post over 500 copies to relevant businesses not on the Mediterranean such as the UK, the Netherlands, Germany the rest of northern Europe and of course the USA and Caribbean. We work hard to develop a publication that all the crew and land based decision makers will read from cover to cover. An enjoyable and informative read for everyone means your message will be read. Talking about your brand, product, services and your team is essential and with our help, the message hits the right decision makers.

world.” The Agency has its head office in Rarotonga, closer in
time zone for its Asia Pacific clients, and another in Italy to
cater for its European clientele.
He adds, “We require all our ships and yachts to comply with
all the relevant national and international maritime conventions
but do not impose any additional requirements beyond IMO
obligations. A provisional registration can be processed and issued
within a matter of days provided all relevant forms, registration
requirements, due diligence and fees are received. This can all
be done via email, And finally; we have been told that we have
a pretty flag!”
COMMONWEALTH OF DOMINICA CONSULATE GREECE
commercial and private, the opportunity to join an International
Yacht Registry. No tonnage tax and no size restrictions are some of
the privileges. The length of registration periods can customised and
special registration offers exist for three or five years registrations.
So let’s talk pretty flags. Trivial? You betcha. Important? 100%!
The most colourful flag in the world belongs to Belize (with a
whopping twelve colours) but it ranks on the Black List of the
Paris MOU, so you really don’t want that one. But this is not
really a casual decision and you will need professional assistance
to weigh up all the ‘pros and cons’ of each registry and the
ultimate usage of the yacht. At the end of the day, if the flag
(like the proverbial glove) fits your requirements, AND is a pretty
colour, then wear it!
FRENCH INTERNATIONAL REGISTER
The RIF is one of the six registers available under the French Flag, open to
ships with a commercial activity. The RIF fleet currently counts 415 ships with
a total gross tonnage of 7.7 million UMS, and includes 153 commercial yachts
(+ 80% since 2020). Created in 2005, the RIF re-established the attractiveness
of the French flag. Its package offers an advantageous tax system allowing the
shipowners to reduce the acquisition costs of their ship due to tax-based leasing
(‘French tax lease’) and helping them to develop a more environmentally friendly
fleet with the ‘green extra depreciation’. The shipowners are also more attractive
as employers, thanks to the tax exemption on incomes. For those wanting to
make a difference in tomorrow’s yachting, make a difference, choose France !
