When you have multiple monitors attached, the preference pane will open separate preference
windows in each display, allowing you to independently set each display’s preferences.
Energy Saver
The Energy Saver preference pane (Figure 4-23) allows you to adjust some power saving features
for your computer. It does this by causing certain functions of your computer to sleep after a
short idle period and by throttling overall performance of your system to conserve energy consumption.
