CEFBH Infertility counseling couple each 15 minutes
Providing a couple with education and/or information regarding infertility to discuss available treatment(s)
for his, her and/or their infertility. Service is billed in 15-minute increments.
CEFBI Genetic counseling couple each 15 minutes
Providing a couple with education and/or information regarding genetics to prevent and/or minimize risk
of his, her and/or their passing a genetic disorder(s). Service is billed in 15-minute increments.
CEFZZ Undefined family planning and/or genetic counseling narrative required

CEG Reproductive system exams and/or treatments
CEGAA Pelvic exam with pap smear each exam
Performing a pelvic exam and a pap smear on a client/patient to assess uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries
for normal development, infection, tubal pregnancy and/or ovarian cysts. Service is billed per exam.
CEGAB Pelvic exam without pap smear each exam
Performing a pelvic exam on a client/patient to assess uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries for normal
development, infection, tubal pregnancy and/or ovarian cysts. Service is billed per exam.
CEGAC Gynecological exam each exam
Performing a comprehensive exam on a client/patient, which includes a medical history, pelvic exam with
labs, breast exam, self-breast exam education, general health education, and pap smear, to assess her
gynecological health. Service is billed per exam.
CEGAD Cervical escharotic treatment each treatment
Destroying a client/patient’s abnormal cervical tissue using a corrosive and/or caustic agent and/or
extreme cold. Service is billed per treatment.
CEGAF Pessary management each 15 minutes
Placing and/or monitoring a vaginal device in a client/patient to treat her urinary incontinence, uterine
retroversion, genital prolapse and/or cervical incompetence. Service is billed in 15-minute increments.
CEGAG Breast care education individual each 15 minutes
Teaching a client/patient breast self-care, including self-examination. Service is billed in 15-minute
increments.
CEGAH Breast care education group each 60 minutes
Teaching clients/patients in a group setting breast self-care, including self-examination. Service is billed
in 60-minute increments per client.
