CHBAU Native American Healing alcoholism treatment individual each 15 minutes
Using Native American Healing practices to assist a client in the treatment of his or her alcoholism and
related problems. Practices include but are not limited to Native American Healing movements, sacred
dance, sweat lodge ceremonies, talking circles and/or cultural enhancement programs. Service is billed
in 15-minute increments.
CHBAV Native American Healing alcoholism treatment group each 60 minutes
Using Native American Healing practices to assist clients in a group setting in the treatment of their
alcoholism and related problems. Practices include but are not limited to Native American Healing
movements, sacred dance, sweat lodge ceremonies, talking circles and/or cultural enhancement
programs. Service is billed in 60-minute increments per client.
CHBAW Native American Healing treatment plan education family each 15 minutes
Teaching a family member(s) Native American Healing practices to assist in their understanding of a
family member’s(s’) treatment plan and/or health condition. Service is billed in 15-minute increments.
CHBAX Native American Healing multiple systems balance individual each 15 minutes
Using Native American Healing practices with a client to empower him or her with a sense of balance
within his or her spiritual, emotional, physical and/or mental well-being. Service is billed in 15-minute
increments.
CHBAY Native American Healing blood pressure regulation education individual each 15 minutes
Teaching a client Native American Healing practices to regulate his or her blood pressure. Service is billed
in 15-minute increments.
CHBAZ Native American Healing pain management education individual each 15 minutes
Teaching a client Native American Healing practices to manage his or her pain. Service is billed in 15minute
increments.

attention to dreams and/or dream patterns). Any practitioner using this code must document appropriate
training and/or certification. Service is billed in 15-minute increments.
CHDAC Shamanic extraction each 15 minutes
Using shamanic techniques to heal a client’s emotional, physical and/or spiritual imbalance(s). Any
practitioner using this code must document appropriate training and/or certification. Service is billed in 15minute
increments.
CHDAD Shamanic psychopomp each 15 minutes
Using shamanic techniques to support a client when he or she is dying. Any practitioner using this code
must document appropriate training and/or certification. Service is billed in 15-minute increments.
