CBGAA Acupressure each 15 minutes<br />

Applying firm, sustained pressure using fingers and palms to stimulate a client’s energy flow along<br />

acupuncture meridian points <strong>of</strong> his or her body. Any practitioner using this code, other than an<br />

acupuncturist or an Oriental medicine practitioner, must document appropriate training and/or certification.<br />

Service is billed in 15-minute increments.<br />

CBGAB Amma therapy each 15 minutes<br />

Applying deep, rhythmic tissue manipulation using fingers, elbows and/or feet on a client’s vital points or<br />

tsubos. Any practitioner using this code must document appropriate training and/or certification. Service<br />

is billed in 15-minute increments.<br />

CBGAI Shiatsu each 15 minutes<br />

Performing a Japanese technique that uses pressure applied by the thumbs to a client’s meridian(s). Any<br />

practitioner using this code, other than an acupuncturist or an Oriental medicine practitioner, must<br />

document appropriate training and/or certification. Service is billed in 15-minute increments.<br />

CBGAK Tuina each 15 minutes<br />

Using Chinese massage techniques to manipulate a client’s s<strong>of</strong>t tissue <strong>of</strong> his or her musculoskeletal and<br />

ligamentous systems to realign their relationships within the body. Any practitioner using this code must<br />

document appropriate training and/or certification. Service is billed in 15-minute increments.<br />

CBGAL Gua Sha each 15 minutes<br />

Promoting blood circulation and/or lymph drainage in a client by scraping his or her skin with a flat tool to<br />

facilitate pain relief. Any practitioner using this code must document appropriate training and/or<br />

certification. Service is billed in 15-minute increments.<br />

CBGAQ Jin Shin Do each 15 minutes<br />

Using a form <strong>of</strong> acupressure that holds vital energy points or tsubos, for one to five minutes to treat a<br />

client’s energetic system. Any practitioner using this code must document appropriate training and/or<br />

certification. Service is billed in 15-minute increments.<br />

CBGAR Jin Shin Jyutsu each 15 minutes<br />

Applying downward pressure onto, or moving a hand over, one or more <strong>of</strong> a client’s 26 acupressure points<br />

on his or her body for therapeutic effect(s) (for example, to reduce fatigue). Service is billed in 15-minute<br />

increments.<br />

CBGAS Thai massage each 15 minutes<br />

Applying rhythmic and firm pressure along the sen or energy lines <strong>of</strong> a fully clothed client, while he or she<br />

lies on a mat on the floor, for therapeutic effect(s) (for example, to strengthen and rejuvenate the body).<br />

Service is billed in 15-minute increments.<br />

CBGAT Watsu each 15 minutes<br />

Using a combination <strong>of</strong> Zen shiatsu and water therapy, which are provided in a warm pool, on a client to<br />

promote relaxation and relieve pressure and/or pain in his or her joints, muscles and/or bones. Any<br />

practitioner using this code must document appropriate training and/or certification. Service is billed in 15minute<br />

increments.<br />

CBGAU Ashiatsu each 15 minutes<br />

Using Asian techniques to apply massage with the foot and/or feet to a client’s body part, region or full<br />

body to affect his or her s<strong>of</strong>t tissue and/or promote relaxation. Service is billed in 15-minute increments.<br />
