BADAQ Percussion hydrotherapy each 15 minutes<br />

Spraying water on a client’s body part, region or full body using a percussion hose, beginning and ending<br />

at the feet, for therapeutic effect(s) (for example, to improve circulation). Service is billed in 15-minute<br />

increments.<br />

BADAR Essential oil bath each bath<br />

Immersing a client’s body part, region or full body in a bath that consists <strong>of</strong> water and essential oil(s) for<br />

therapeutic effect(s) (for example, to relieve skin irritations). Service is billed per bath.<br />

BADZZ Undefined water modality narrative required<br />

BAE Light<br />

Using therapeutic infrared light at a depth <strong>of</strong> up to 10 mm on a client’s body part or region to create a<br />

heating effect. Service is billed in 15-minute increments.<br />

BAEAB Ultraviolet (UV-A) light therapy each 15 minutes<br />

Applying artificial UV-A light to a client’s body part, region or full body for therapeutic effect(s) (for example,<br />

to treat psoriasis). Service is billed in 15-minute increments.<br />

BAEAC Cold laser therapy each treatment<br />

Focusing a cold or low-level laser on a client’s body part or region for therapeutic effect(s) (for example,<br />

to stimulate bioelectric events for healing at a cellular level). Service is billed per treatment.<br />

BAEAD Full-spectrum light therapy each 15 minutes<br />

Applying artificial, full-spectrum light to a client’s body part, region or full body for therapeutic effect(s) (for<br />

example, to relieve depression). Service is billed in 15-minute increments.<br />

BAEAE Colored light therapy each 15 minutes<br />

Applying artificial, multi-colored light to a client’s body part or region for therapeutic effect(s) (for example,<br />

to relieve headaches). Service is billed in 15-minute increments.<br />

BAEAG Erchonia Therapeutic Low Level Laser PL / Series each 5 minutes<br />

Applying an Erchonia Low Level Laser PL / Series, a portable noninvasive biomedical optics device, to<br />

a client’s s<strong>of</strong>t tissue, joints, vertebral processes and/or extremities. Application <strong>of</strong> the device serves as a<br />

primary or adjunctive treatment for increasing range <strong>of</strong> motion, resefitting myotomes and/or reducing pain.<br />

Any practitioner using this code must document appropriate training and/or certification. Service is billed<br />

in 5-minute increments.<br />
