BEB Allergy treatments
BEBAA Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique (NAET)
Using NAET with a client who has a specific allergen determined by an initial examination and testing.
Performing acupressure massage along and around specific spinal segments. Chiropractors and doctors
of osteopathy who are fully licensed where practicing may also perform an adjustment in the specific area,
using either thumbs or the activator method. Acupuncturists or Oriental medicine practitioners who are
fully licensed where practicing may also place needles on selected acupoints. Any practitioner using this
code must document appropriate training and/or certification. Service is billed per treatment.
BEBAB Allergy injection with extract provision initial injection each injection
Administering an injection with a specific, provided allergen extract(s) to a client/patient to alleviate his or
her allergic reaction(s). For additional injections, use BEBAD. Service is billed per injection.
BEBAC Allergy injection without extract provision initial injection
Administering an injection without a specific allergen extract(s) to a client/patient to alleviate his or her
allergic reaction(s). For additional injections, use BEBAE. Service is billed per injection.
BEBAD Allergy injection with extract provision each additional injection
Administering an injection with a specific, provided allergen extract(s) to a client/patient to alleviate his or
her allergic reaction(s). Use BEBAD in conjunction with BEBAB. Service is billed per injection.
BEBAE Allergy injection without extract provision each additional injection
Administering an injection without a specific allergen extract(s) to a client/patient to alleviate his or her
allergic reaction(s). Use BEBAE in conjunction with BEBAC. Service is billed per injection.
BEBAF Allergy monitoring each 15 minutes
Monitoring a client/patient’s allergic response(s) to foods, medications, insect bites, contrast materials,
blood and/or other substance(s) to minimize adverse reaction(s). Service is billed in 15-minute
increments.
BEBZY Undefined allergy treatment narrative required
