Providing a client with education and/or information regarding a holistic approach to proper nutrition and/
or diet modification. Service is billed in 15-minute increments.
BFAAJ Holistic nutrition education group each 60 minutes
Providing clients in a group sefitting with education and/or information regarding a holistic approach to
proper nutrition and/or diet modification. Service is billed in 60-minute increments per client.
BFAAK Prescribed diet teaching individual each 15 minutes
Teaching a client/patient how to correctly follow a prescribed or special diet. Service is billed in 15-minute
increments.
BFAAL Prescribed diet teaching group each 60 minutes
Teaching clients/patients in a group sefitting how to correctly follow prescribed or special diets. Service is
billed in 60-minute increments per client.
BFAZY Undefined nutrition education narrative required

Assisting a client/patient in gaining weight. Service is billed in 15-minute increments.
BFBAH Weight gain assistance group each 60 minutes
Assisting clients/patients in a group sefitting in gaining weight. Service is billed in 60-minute increments
per client.
BFBAI Weight management individual each 15 minutes
Supporting a client/patient in maintaining his or her optimal body composition and/or weight. Service is
billed in 15-minute increments.
BFBAJ Weight management group each 60 minutes
Supporting clients/patients in a group sefitting in maintaining their optimal body composition and/or
weight. Service is billed in 60-minute increments per client.
BFBAN Eating disorder management individual each 15 minutes
Managing and/or caring for a client/patient diagnosed with an eating disorder(s). Service is billed in 15minute
increments.
BFBAO Special diet assessment individual each 15 minutes
Assessing a client/patient’s nutritional and/or dietary needs to plan his or her special diet, prescribed for
a specific purpose. Service is billed in 15-minute increments.
