BDB Body composition testing
BDBAA Caliper testing 5 sites each 15 minutes
Using a caliper to measure the thickness of a client’s skin at 5 specific sites on his or her body to determine
body composition. Service is billed in 15-minute increments.
BDBAB Impedance testing each 15 minutes
Measuring a client’s body composition using an impedance-measurement instrument to determine his or
her lean muscle mass and/or body fat percentage. Service is billed in 15-minute increments.
BDBAC Caliper testing 9 sites each 15 minutes
Using a caliper to measure the thickness of a client’s skin at 9 specific sites on his or her body to determine
body composition. Service is billed in 15-minute increments.
BDBAD Bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) each 15 minutes
Using a BIA instrument to assess a client’s electrical tissue conductivity to measure his or her body
composition. Service is billed in 15-minute increments.
BDBAE Caliper testing 4 sites each 15 minutes
Using a caliper to measure the thickness of a client’s skin at four specific sites on his or her body to
determine body composition. Service is billed in 15-minute increments.
BDBAF Anthropometric assessment each 15 minutes
Measuring the girth and length of a client’s waist, neck and thigh to estimate his or her body fat
percentage. Service is billed in 15-minute increments.
BDBZZ Undefined body composition test narrative required

and exert force at a controlled speed in a particular region of his or her body. Service is billed per test.
BDCAB Isokinetic testing full body each test
Using an automated device to measure and/or evaluate a client’s ability to contract his or her muscle(s)
and exert force at a controlled speed throughout his or her body. Service is billed per test.
BDCAC Isokinetic testing reevaluation each test
Using an automated device to reevaluate a client’s ability to contract his or her muscle(s) and exert force
at a controlled speed. Service is billed per test.
BDCAD Electronic muscle testing one region each test
Using an electronic device to measure the power of a client’s contracted muscle or muscle groups
responsible for locomotion throughout his or her body part or region. Service is billed per test.
BDCAE Electronic muscle testing full body each test
Using an electronic device to measure the power of a client’s contracted muscle or muscle groups
responsible for locomotion throughout his or her full body. Service is billed per test.
