Section A contains the Clinical Practice Management codes of the ABC code set. Using accurate codes remains the

Each heading contains ABC codes ending in ZY or ZZ – undefined narrative required. Use these ABC codes when a
specific service is not described by any other code and submit a Terminology and Code Request following the
instructions on page 292, or at www.ABCcodes.com.
NOTE: Unless otherwise indicated, ABC codes represent 15-minute time increments. When a service or treatment exceeds initial time
increments, report each additional time increment according to payer requirements.
