BACAI – BADAO Physical Modalities – Water<br />

BACAI Heat lamp each 10 minutes<br />

Using a heat lamp on a client’s body part or region for therapeutic effect(s) (for example, to improve skin<br />

irregularities). Service is billed in 10-minute increments.<br />

BACAJ Hot fomentation each 20 minutes<br />

Applying moist heat to a client’s body part or region to provide penetrating heat. Service is billed in 20minute<br />

increments.<br />

BACAK Steam inhalation each 15 minutes<br />

Using a vaporizer or other steam producing device on a client to facilitate steam drawing into the sinuses<br />

and lungs. Service is billed in 15-minute increments.<br />

BACAL Ear coning each cone or candle<br />

Heating an ear cone or candle to create gentle suction in a client’s ear canal to remove wax and/or debris.<br />

Service is billed per ear cone or candle.<br />

BACZZ Undefined heat modality narrative required<br />

Applying controlled, low-voltage electricity through pads that are placed in alternating hot and cold damp<br />

Immersing a client’s buttocks and/or hips in hot, cold or alternating temperatures <strong>of</strong> water to focus the flow<br />

<strong>of</strong> blood and nutrients to the lower pelvic, perianal and perineal areas <strong>of</strong> the body. Service is billed per<br />

bath.<br />
