The supplier session organized by BENEO – Palatinit allows <strong>the</strong><br />
participants to learn about PALATINOSE for use in beer and beer<br />
specialties and to taste samples formulated with this new functional<br />
carbohydrate. Prolonging freshness and flavor stability <strong>of</strong> beer<br />
and beer-mix products PALATINOSE fur<strong>the</strong>rmore improves<br />
palate fullness <strong>of</strong> beer containing low or no alcohol. Due to its low<br />
fermentability it can also be applied in great tasting alcohol-free<br />
malt beer and innovative malt beverage concepts.<br />

Parker–domnick hunter<br />
Parker–domnick hunter will be pleased to discuss <strong>the</strong> importance<br />
<strong>of</strong> CO quality for <strong>the</strong> international brewing community. The latest<br />

unique in-line instant verification <strong>of</strong> clean system and will introduce<br />
its product TM DESANA MAX, a cleaner/verifier with integrated<br />
color indicator for dispensing systems cleaning. The technology uses<br />
a color to ensure <strong>the</strong> hygienic condition <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> system in quantified<br />
readouts. This technology can be used for beverage process and<br />
beverage dispensing systems and has enjoyed great success in<br />
European breweries. Now, it is also available in <strong>the</strong> United States.<br />
University <strong>of</strong> Nottingham-Brewing Science<br />
From 4:00 to 4:30 p.m. <strong>the</strong> University <strong>of</strong> Nottingham will be<br />
showcasing its portfolio <strong>of</strong> innovative postgraduate courses in<br />
brewing, which have been specifically designed to meet <strong>the</strong> needs<br />
<strong>of</strong> pr<strong>of</strong>essionals working in <strong>the</strong> industry. We will demonstrate our<br />
unique interactive e-learning materials and dedication to providing<br />
high quality ongoing pr<strong>of</strong>essional development for <strong>Brewers</strong>.<br />
The Smart laboratory at <strong>the</strong> University <strong>of</strong> Nottingham has developed<br />
a novel toolkit to allow differentiation <strong>of</strong> proprietary brewing<br />
strains. It has been designed to permit rapid in-house analysis. From<br />
4:30 to 5:00 p.m. we will describe <strong>the</strong> toolkit, which is <strong>the</strong> first in a<br />
series <strong>of</strong> innovative products being developed at Nottingham.<br />
VLB Berlin<br />
The VLB Berlin provides training, research and service for <strong>the</strong><br />
brewing industry. In this session you can learn more about VLB’s<br />
international training courses for brewing pr<strong>of</strong>essionals and about<br />
