There are about 43,000-44,000 business coaches minimum operating in the world.<br />
<strong>Coaching</strong> is definitely a global phenomenon; the top 10 countries with the highest<br />
numbers of coaches include an Asian, an African and a South American country<br />
(Japan, South Africa, Brazil). However, there remain extreme differences in the<br />
development and size of coaching markets depending on each continent and<br />
country.<br />
Europe, North America and Australia – representing just 20%<br />
of the world population - comprise 80% of all business coaches<br />
of the world. More than two thirds of all coaches are<br />
based in the European Union, USA and Canada which<br />
represent just 13% of the world population.<br />
Europe is the continent (18,000), US the country (10,000<br />
minimum) with the highest number of business coaches.<br />
