Also a first international coaching association in the region has been set up: the newly established Asia-Pacific Alliance of<br />
Coaches (APAC) has active members in several countries and will hold its first international conference in Singapore in 2010.<br />
It is one of the first supra-regional, international coaching associations in the world, which doesn’t have an Anglo-Saxon<br />
origin/headquarter. So coaching is clearly on the rise and in the process of becoming more mature in Asia in terms of quality<br />
and infrastructure.<br />
However, coaching is still mainly driven and determined by multinational clients or international coaching. As a result, you<br />
rarely find specific Asian coaching forms and approaches. So while local initiatives increasingly take place in Asia, these still<br />
remain rather limited.<br />

Bahrain There is not even a coaching network here yet. This is done only very informally.<br />
Bangladesh Only a few multinational companies hire coaching services. Others just want training to be conducted<br />
with coaching as a topic, but not showing any interest in hiring such services.<br />
Bhutan Business coaching has not yet visibly developed.<br />
Brunei Business coaching has not yet visibly developed.<br />
Cambodia There are no registered coaching bodies, accreditation units, or professional support organizations,<br />
nor professional coaches operating regularly in Cambodia.<br />
