(Total: 16 States).
(2) The Additional Act of 1972 is in force in respect of the following States as from the
dates indicated hereafter: Belgium (11 February 1977); Denmark (11 February 1977);
France (11 February 1977); Germany (11 February 1977); Israel (12 December 1979);
Italy
(1 July 1977); Netherlands (11 February 1977); South Africa (6 November 1977); Spain
(18 May 1980); Sweden (11 February 1977); Switzerland (10 July 1977); United
Kingdom (31 July 1980).
(3) With a notification under Article 34 (2) of the 1978 Act.
(4) With a declaration that the Convention of 1961, the Additional Act of 1972, the 1978
Act and the 1991 Act do not bind Greenland and the Faroe Islands.
(5) With a declaration that the 1978 Act applies to the territory of the French Republic,
including the overseas departments and territories.
(6) Ratification for the Kingdom in Europe. The Netherlands extended the application of
the 1978 Act to Aruba with effect from 8 November 1986.
(7) With a declaration that the Convention of 1961 and the Additional Act of 1972 apply
to the entire territory of Spain.
(8) With a notification under Article 37 (1) and (2) of the 1978 Act.
