Mentre nella città si susseguono bombardamenti e massacri con armi non convenzionali, in una strana stanza alienante si incontrano un soldato americano e una donna irachena. Il soldato, sia pure scosso per l’uccisione da parte del figlio della donna di suoi tre compagni, quando scorge la donna non spara. I due parlano, si minacciano, piangono, si confessano, si raccontano, si feriscono. ANGELI DISTRATTI Fallujah, November 2004. With the city under constant bombardment, subject to massacres with unconventional arms, an American soldier and an Iraqi woman come together in a strange, alienating room. Though the woman’s son has killed three other Americans, the soldier does not shoot when he sees her. The two of them talk, exchange angry words, cry, makes confessions, reveal things about themselves and hurt each other. E’ una discoteca piena di vecchi. Il n o s t ro viene trascinato via da due anziani. Letto. Fanno l’amore. L’anziano va via. L’anziana si addormenta. Il nostro si dirige alla finestra e sale in piedi sul davanzale. La macchina da presa fa per seguirlo, ruota su se stessa e torna a voltarsi verso la camera da letto dove scopriamo… THE 30’S An elderly man wakes up, leaves his home and eats in a rundown soup kitchen.He goes to a discotheque filled with other elderly people dressed to the nines, their hair slicked back with gel. Our old man is dragged away by an elderly couple. They go to bed. They make love. The male half of the old couple leaves. The old lady falls asleep. Our old man walks to the window and climbs onto the sill. ANTICLOCKWISE OF THE QUARTER One night, Mr. Tomb is waiting at his dwelling the return of his two toughs: Snail and Shorty. Their mission is to retrieve 30.000 € from small swindler, some C a s t a g n a ro. Shorty and Snail don't know that Castagnaro is being sought after other people also. They will found themselves in surreal situation but they know they couldn't come back to their boss with empty-handed. The dangerous incidents they will cope with, will be a key to a solution with a final stage-trick.
