I protagonisti di quegli anni riscrivono alcune pagine drammatiche della nostra storia dal punto di vista di chi quella storia l’ha vissuta senza sparare e senza reprimere il bisogno di rinnovare la democrazia nel nostro paese. Il tentativo di ripetere un esperienza di piacere, la speranza in un’oblio intermittente, oppure il semplice compiacersi di una speculazione, di un illusione prodotti dagli stati alterati. Metastasi è un cortometraggio ciclico che si snoda in uno schema di citazioni cinematografiche e letterarie di opere che hanno trattato il tema della droga. E’ la storia di un ragazzo nato in una periferia di una metropoli. Lo vediamo moribondo su una barella in un corridoio d’ospedale spinto da medici ed infermieri che tentano di rianimarlo mentre lo portano in una sala operatoria. Durante questo percorso ha dei flashback, che raccontano i punti salienti della sua vita, spiegando nell’ultimo suo flashback il perché si trova in ospedale.
