Alle 15.00 del pomeriggio del 9 è nel golfo di Bonifacio dove subisce l’attacco di aerei tedeschi, fino al giorno prima alleati dell’Italia. BATTLESHIP ROMA The last hours The tale of the tragedy of the battleship Roma told for the first time after 63 years by contemporary witnesses, including the son and daughter of the fleet commander, Admiral Bergamini. The film opens on the chaotic days of 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th September 1943. In a series of meetings at the Italian Admiralty in Rome, Admiral Berg a m i n i was ord e red to sail his fleet to the Allies in Malta. On 9th September at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, it had reached the Bay of Boniface. Here it was attacked by German bombers who had been tracking the ships' pro g ress. Il forte contrasto con l’ambiente e il territorio e la vita difficile che aveva causato la fuga di Nicola in giovane età, diventano per Gabriele occasione di lavoro e la scoperta di una nuova condizione di vita. BREATHS OF FAR LANDS The history of Nicholas, emigrating young person of the province of Foggia intercrosses with that one of Gabriel its son, a young engineer who returns in the country where the father had lived. The strong contrast with the atmosphere and the territory that it had caused the escape of Nicholas in young age, becomes for Gabriel job occasion and the discovery of one new living conditions.
