3.1 Keypad<br />

1 POWER: Switches the unit on and off.<br />
2 BATTERY: Shows battery status; signals that the battery requires recharging (for<br />
details see 2.3).<br />
3+7 / : Scrolls right/left in the bottom row of the display: through the file system,<br />
file, torque and speed fields and the fields in the menu in order to activate<br />
the fields which can then be changed by +/-. The field which is active is<br />
indicated by an arrow. If pressed simultaneously for 1 second, the default<br />
values for the selected file are loaded.<br />
4+6 + / -: Scrolls through the selected display field (file system, file, torque and<br />
speed) and in the menu and can be used to change torque and speed<br />
settings, where possible.<br />
5 CONFIRM: Used to confirm modifications to the torque and speed settings in each<br />
system via the MENU and to reload the default parameters when used<br />
together with the power button. Used to automatically start the motor<br />
(without the foot pedal).<br />
8 ANA: Reduces the torque value dependant on difficult root canals for maximal<br />
safety. LED is green when active.<br />
9 MENU: Gives access to specific functions such as activation/deactivation of file<br />
systems, activation/deactivation of the apical auto-stop, acoustic sound<br />
level of motor and apex locator and to selection of language.<br />
10 CAL: Calibrates the contra-angle to ensure torque accuracy each time the<br />
contra-angle is replaced or lubricated.
