WARNING<br />
Do not use the micromotor when its temperature exceeds 40°C. In the case of overheating,<br />
stop the therapy and wait until the micromotor cools down below 40°C before restarting the<br />
treatment. If the motor overheats again during the same treatment, discontinue using the<br />
motor and contact your service center.<br />
Contra-angle<br />
To sterilise the 6:1 contra-angle, refer to its separate user manual.<br />
7. Maintenance<br />
Routine Maintenance<br />
Inspect the micromotor cable at least once every six months. If any deterioration of the<br />
sheathing is noticed, have the power cord replaced by an authorized service center.<br />
WARNING<br />
• Do not lubricate the micromotor for any reason, because lubricant contamination of the<br />
micromotor can have a strong negative effect on its safe operation.<br />
• When lubricating the contra-angle, check that no lubricant penetrates the micromotor.<br />
• Never introduce any foreign objects into the micromotor.<br />
• No replacement of the micromotor can be considered as repair under warranty if a<br />
condition of lubricant contamination exists.<br />
