11 ASR: (referring to the motor):
Green LED: auto-stop-reverse motion when preset torque is reached
Red LED: reverse motion, controlled by foot pedal (e.g. for Lentulo)
LED Off: only auto-stop
12 APEX status: Red LED: when lip clip cable has been plugged in.
Green LED: ready to use after the file in contra-angle and lip clip have
been connected.
Flashing green LED: if apical auto-stop is activated and reverse motion
of the file is started by pressing the foot pedal.
Flashing red LED: in case of an error “ERROR 3” is simultaneously
shown as display reading.
Scale of apex locator (LED 13 -20)
When determining the working length, the movement of the file tip is shown within the root canal.
For details see chapter 4.9.
3.2 Display
After being switched on, all LEDs light up, a welcome screen is shortly shown and then the
display will read the last used file, e.g. the Mtwo 10/04.
Top row: inactive, shows each active file system; cannot be changed individually

Bottom row: 4 columns show system, file size, preset torque and speed values
sys displays the selected NiTi System
file displays the selected NiTi File (10/04, 15/05, 20/06, ..)
gcm displays the preset torque limit.
Torque is shown in g/cm (grams-force per centimeter: 1 gcm = 0.0981 Nmm)
rpm displays the instrument rotation speed in rpm (revolutions per minute)
• Using the and keys, it is possible to move to the right and left.
• Using the + and – keys, it is possible to scroll through the active NiTi systems and files
and to individually change the torque or speed values in all file systems.
