5. Standard Settings<br />
5.1 Torque and Speed Settings<br />
On delivery, the file systems Mtwo with retreatment files and FlexMaster ® , Dr´s Choice and<br />
Gates are activated and thus visible in the display when scrolling through.<br />
The preset torque and speed values of all file systems can be altered individually.<br />
5.2 Factory Default Parameters<br />
It is always possible to return to the original default parameters by a general reset.<br />
• Make sure that the charger is disconnected.<br />
• Switch off the unit.<br />
• Keep holding down the CONFIRM key and the POWER button simultaneously for<br />
around 3 seconds. The unit will switch on and the display will read:<br />
NOTE<br />
Be aware that all individual settings, including the settings in Dr`s Choice program will be<br />
affected when reset to default parameters has been carried out.<br />
To reset the torque or speed value of 1 file to the original values, press simultaneously<br />
the keys for 1 second.<br />
6. Cleaning, Disinfection, Sterilisation<br />

None of the <strong>VDW</strong>.GOLD <strong>com</strong>ponents are delivered disinfected or sterilised!<br />
Exterior surfaces<br />
Wipe off the surface of the unit, the micromotor and the power cord, the lip clip and file<br />
clamp cables with a clean cloth moistened lightly with a non-aggressive disinfectant.<br />
Use only disinfectants with antibacterial, fungicide and viricide power and which <strong>com</strong>ply<br />
with the valid requirements of the national regulatory body.<br />
We re<strong>com</strong>mend to use aldehydfree disinfectants, for example the “Minuten Wipes”<br />
of ALPRO Medical.<br />
