WARNING<br />
• Do not immerse the unit in ultrasonic cleaners.<br />
• As the housing is not sealed, do not use any spray directly on the unit, especially on the<br />
monitor or near the electrical sockets.<br />
Accessories<br />
The lip clip, the file clamp and the contra-angle sleeve have bio<strong>com</strong>patible properties (in<br />
<strong>com</strong>pliance with EN 10993-1) and can be sterilized in autoclave (prior to sterilization put the<br />
item in the special plastic bag) for 20 minutes at 121°C or for 5 minutes at 132/134°C. Use<br />
steam autoclaves in <strong>com</strong>pliance with Standard EN 13060.<br />

WARNING<br />
Neither the lip clip cable nor the file clamp cable cannot be sterilized!<br />
Micromotor<br />
The motor inclusive the cable is autoclavable. Sterilize for 15 minutes at 121°C.<br />
Use steam autoclaves in <strong>com</strong>pliance with Standard EN 13060.<br />

WARNING<br />
• Never exceed a temperature of 135°C when sterilising all accessories described in the<br />
user manual.<br />
• Perform periodic maintenance on the autoclave functions and temperature by following<br />
the manufacturer’s instructions.<br />
NOTE<br />
The motor may overheat if excessive force is applied.<br />
• If the motor overheats, do not disconnect the micromotor from the central unit.<br />
• If the motor overheats too often, contact your service center.
